Use Cornell Legal Information Institute's interface to the House of Representatives United States Code. Locate a statute; for example, the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act at 12 U.S.C. sec. 2801. Open section 2801 so that the text appears in the lower left-hand frame. Notice the right-hand frame. A link for "Parallel authorities: CFR" appears. Click on it to discover implementing regulations at 12 C.F.R. Part 203. This resource, like many others, is not perfect. But, as in the example above, it may provide a starting point. Method 2. Alternatively, connect to the Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) at GPO Access. First look for your regulations using the Parallel Table of Authorities and Rules. This table consists of several pages of numbers arranged in two columns. The column on the left contains U.S.C. citations in numerical order. Scroll down the page (or use your browser's Find command) until you see the beginning of 12 U.S.C., and then locate the relevant section (2801). Now look at column two on the same line.
